Have You Ever Felt Inspired To Become a Better You?


I love the “just do it” energy of motivational speakers — on stage and here on LinkedIn. Their words light a fire. For a moment, I’m inspired. Energized. Ready to become the more fulfilled, more effective version of myself that I KNOW is possible.


And then… the crash.


Like a toddler on a sugar high, the inspiration fades. Why? Because inspiration alone doesn’t create transformation.


Sustained personal change frequently requires that we identify and change the self-protective strategies and limiting beliefs that keep us stuck in familiar patterns. 


Experts in adult development remind us: willpower alone rarely does the trick. (There's a reason the second Friday of January has been named quitter's day!)


Change is deeply personal. Often messy. Never one-size-fits-all. The real work starts when we look within and dig deep.
